About us:

Ellen & Jorgen
Welcome to
our shop
We started
our Photo editing shop back in 1995 as new technology opened up for an
exiting possibility for us to replace our photo chemicals with MegaBytes
and gave us the opportunity to work at home and spend more time with our
3 children.
We
repaired, restored, enlarged and correct customers photos – and when
sublimation print came along we bought equipment to make mugs,
t-shirts and plates with photo.
PhotoGallery
It was questions from American visitors to our photo gallery that got us
to evaluate Cafepress in the first place. They asked about buying our
stock photo on mugs and .... alas the Norwegian custom rules made it
hard/expencive to send anything out of Norway and we had to say no to the
first request we got.
Then
we 'found' Cafepress
Cafepress y use sublimation print and we saw that this would be a nice
alternative for us to offer our photo to the international market without
us having to deal with shipping and customs. They offered us a shop front
and lots of products we could offer to our customers, they do all the
customer support, manufacturing and ... so we uploaded our first
photo to Cafepress in January 2005 and sent the customer her link to the
products in e-mail so she could evaluate the photo on different products
and buy if she liked the way it looked.
We Now got 3 Cafepress Shops
After the first custom photo order we got another request - Uff da!
Could I create something with the word Uff Da!
After doing a bit of research I found that many Norwegian-Americans got
fond memories of Uff da - and that many wanted to buy gift items for their
friends and family with the Norwegian expression Uff da on them.
The Uff da collection grew -
then I added our Flag Collection and soon our shop turned out to sell very
well.
Shop # 2 - PreggoPrincess
While creating the Uff da and the Norwegian themed gift items I got ideas
for lots of different pregnancy related designs. They just had to live on
my computer becauce they did not belong among the Norwegian themed gifts.
When I got about 50 of them ready I had to open our second shop :-)
Shop # 3 - Festivity shop
After uploading to shop #1 and 2 I got a lot of Birhday themed designs
that did not fit into any of the two shops.
